Cactus’ Academic Team selects only highly experienced and qualified teachers to provide training, ensuring teachers are up-to-date with the latest methods and techniques available for teaching languages. In addition, we focus on teaching practical skills that the student will use in real-life situations, as well as immersing the student in the culture of the country where their chosen language is spoken.
It is this teacher-led approach, combined with cultural insight, that is at the heart of our language methodology. We believe that it makes Cactus courses far more effective, interactive and enjoyable than other language learning options on the market.

We run evening and part-time group courses.. Customers can choose from different course formats including 10 week courses, 5 week fast-track courses, 1 week intensive courses, exam preparation courses and weekend vacation survival courses. We offer group programs in up to 15 languages, and levels from Beginner to Advanced conversation. Classes are taught in small groups by our qualified and experienced native-speaker trainers.
Next starting date:
- 10 weeks courses: 27 June, 10 July, 12 July, 16 July and 19 September, 25 September, 4 October.
- 5 weeks courses: 23 Jul.
- Weekend vacation survival courses: 21 July, 18 August, 15 September.

We provide custom-made language and cultural training for individual, business, corporate and public sector companies in the USA and many other worldwide locations. Tuition can be provided in-company, at the participant's residence, or in fully-equipped training rooms anywhere in the world. Cactus regularly provides online training via Skype™, one-to-one tuition and many other styles of teaching and blended learning.

32nd & 5th , Midtown
The school is very centrally located in Manhattan, one block South of the Empire State Building and on the very popular 5th avenue, a short walk from major subways, bus and commuter rail stations. There are 11 large spacious modern classrooms, and 6 smaller classrooms. There is also a student lounge, cafeteria. and a computer room. Address: 330 5th avenue, 7th floor. At this center, we offer Part-time group courses in: French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Serbian, Spanish and Turkish.
26th & 7th , Midtown
The school is centrally located in Manhattan, ½ a block from FIT, between 7th and 8th avenue. There are 8 large spacious modern classrooms, and a student lounge/computer room. Address: 226w, 10th floor. At this center, we offer Part-time group courses in: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish and Swedish.

Our Soho training rooms are located at 154 Grand Street, between Lafayette and Centre Streets, in downtown Manhattan. The nearest subways are Spring Street and Canal Street. The center boasts spacious, modern training rooms, and a coffee and juice bar right underneath the center. At this center, we offer Private courses only.
